At a Glance - October

I cannot get enough of this face.

While my brother was here we went to one of the distilleries.

Anneliese is most certainly not 21 yet so she had to stay behind the rope that separates the tasting bar.

We attempted to go to a luau with my brother but due to the weather it was cancelled. The hotel it was at is super nice though.

On the road to Hana we stopped at saw some gorgeous trees called rainbow eucalyptus.

She's getting so big!

After a long day I handed the baby off to the hubs so I could get a much needed break.

So many faces to make!

At a Glance - September

Daddy's teaching her how to use an iPad. I'm hoping she won't get addicted.

Anneliese has started smiling!

Getting ready for uncle Steven's visit at the end of the month by wearing her anchors outfit. Go Navy!

Matthews parents volunteered to watch Anneliese so we could have a date night. We celebrated my birthday which was last month, but since I had literally just given birth and was being released from the hospital on my birthday I was not about to go out. We had a great sunset with our great dinner.

Nuff said.

Seriously, look at my adorable smiling baby.

And for the non-human baby fans, here's Dixie enjoying the baby pillow.

At a Glance - July

  • I had a baby shower thrown in my honor, so blessed by this
  • Cute packaging for my maternity photos
  • Walter cuddling the baby bump, right before he decided to bite it
  • Started a new project, a crochet baby blanket for the little girl. I haven't done any crocheting since we moved and I missed it
  • Super yummy Fourth of July dinner I made, carnitas, black beans, grilled corn, and fresh hand squeezed lemonade
  • We don't live on the sunset side of the island, but we still get pretty colors in the sky when the sun is setting
  • Dixie too worn out after a morning at the beach. She decided to use her treat as a pillow until she had energy to eat it
  • Having a lopsided belly is kind of strange
  • Got a window AC unit for the cottage, it makes me so happy. Didn't realize how much I missed having AC

At a glance - May/June

It seems like it has been a busy month and I haven't been able to blog as much. I've also been sick this past week with an awful cough, but I'm feeling much better now, just a slight cough. Unfortunately, Matthew is now sick. I'm taking a page out of my friend Marlee's book and doing a recap of the past few weeks through some photos I have on my phone.
- I finished my first quilt!
- Angelina really wants to lick my ice cream bowl
- My anniversary gift from Matthew, a desk fan to help keep me cool at work. Something I really needed. We're still planning on doing a nice dinner out, maybe a luau, but with the busy month and now sickness it hasn't happened yet
- At 30 weeks, my baby bump is getting a little out of hand. It's making reading difficult since it covers part of the page and I don't really like resting my book on my belly
- We're participating in the Hawaii State Library summer reading challenge, this weeks prize was a lanyard and some dried fruit snacks
- Milkshake and hamburger date night with the hubby after a long day at the doctor getting vaccines and gestational diabetes testing
- Dixie likes to cuddle with the baby bump
- Started my second quit
- Had a maternity photo shoot. Can't wait to see how all the pictures turn out
